Totara User Conference Review

On the 15th May (2019) we attended the Totara User EMEA User Conference at the stunning Glaziers Hall in the heart of London.

This event was the first of its kind in Europe which really highlights the growth of the Totara brand and learning platform. The event was a chance for the Totara users to meet with those who create the Totara Learning Platform and collaborate with users from other organisations.  


Beware of Snake Oil

The keynote came from Lori Niles-Hofmann who presented a fascinating insight in to the developments in the world of learning.

Lori talked about the changing workplace and in turn the impact workplace changes have on learning and development. Lori also commented on the need for fresh, engaging content that is created with the learner in mind. One of the most interesting elements was Lori’s warning of ‘buzz words’ to beware of.  The Totara Roadmap & Community

One of the most exciting presentations of the day was Totara Product Manager Michael Ball taking a look at Totara Perform. This new platform will look at appraisals and the concept of performance cycles. The feature highlights are listed below, this is a platform that is much anticipated.

Totara also reminded attendees of the collateral and resources available on the Totara Academy and community.

The User Conference was a great opportunity for the Totara community to see the possibilities with the Totara platform, it was fantastic to see first hand Totara Learn success stories.
