The Synergy Learning team are lacing up their running shoes for the Belfast City Marathon in aid of Community Rescue Service. The Community Rescue Service (CRS) is a charitable search and rescue organisation operated by volunteers from communities across Northern Ireland. This excellent organisation relies heavily on sponsorship in order to help continue the amazing service they offer to the people of Northern Ireland.
CRS provide all aspects of search and rescue falling under the remit of Lowland Rescue including ground, inland water, bike, boat and much, much more.
The fantastic work of CRS was highlighted in a recent BBC NI documentary called ‘The Search’. This documentary really brought home the sacrifices members of the CRS make in order to help the community.
Synergy Learning have entered two teams, made up of ten participants, into the Belfast City Marathon which takes place in May. Our teams are currently putting in the miles in order to get fit enough to undertake the challenge and we would appreciate any small donations to help this fantastic organisation and make the team’s training worthwhile.
