About Synergy Learning

Synergy Learning was formed in 1997 by The University of Ulster to build upon innovative R&D into new media education.

We provide cutting edge interactive learning resources for Post-Primary, Further and Higher Education, which can be used across a number of curricular areas as well as in Recreational, Vocational and Continuing Professional Development. Our cross platform, online learning materials promote the creative use of software products from industry leaders such as Macromedia, Adobe, Apple, Sony and Discreet.

Synergy Learning’s philosophy is to develop and provide innovative new media learning resources and services to the highest standards and quality to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Synergy Learning is staffed by experts in the eLearning field, including Instructional Designers, Multimedia Pedagogy Experts, Project Managers and Software Professionals/Trainers, who among them have vast experience in course design, courseware production and VLE integration.

Our global customer base encompasses the world of professional educators as well as businesses seeking to incorporate technology and the use of eLearning into the personal development of their workforce benefiting from the highly interactive multimedia learning resources that Synergy Learning can provide.

All product development takes place at our headquarters in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Sales and marketing are also managed from head office and are augmented with regional sales offices in GB and a growing global partner network.

Synergy Learning also enters into partnership agreements with education bodies worldwide, such as the deal signed with the Chartered Institute of Technology in Singapore launching two eMedia/Games courses. The qualifications have been approved by the Singaporean Ministry of Education and are fully accredited.

In October 2005 a partnership of existing management acquired the company in a Management Buy Out highlighting a commitment and confidence in Synergy Learning’s future.
